Court again flags centre sitting on collegium recommendations

The Supreme Court of India criticized the government for selectively accepting recommendations from the court's collegium for appointments and transfers of high court judges. The court expressed its dissatisfaction with the delay in acting upon the collegium's recommendation to transfer four judges of the Gujarat High Court. A bench of justices emphasized that the delay from the govt side in taking any decision sends a wrong signal and called for the pending transfers to be completed.
